The Goodreads Book Tag

I’ve been an active user of Goodreads since 2011. I find the platform really useful not only in tracking down the books that I’ve read but also in getting acquainted with new book titles and also getting new bookish friends. Hit me up on this link if you want to be friends there.

This week, I’ll be doing a tag dedicated to my fave bookish platform – Goodreads. Hope you have fun reading my answers as much as I had fun answering them. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

What was the last book you marked as โ€˜readโ€™?

Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett. Gosh! I’m madly in love with this book! You may want to check out my review here. ๐Ÿ˜Š

What are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading 2 books right now. Goodbye Days by Jeff Zentnerย  in paperback and Crazy Imperfect Love by K.L. Grayson (part of Kristen Proby’s crossover novellas with her Big Sky Series) in e-book format .

What was the last book you marked as TBR?

Hunted by the Sky (Hunted by the Sky, #1) by Tanaz Bhathena!! This is one of my most anticipated title this year and I recently received an ARC of this and I’m so excited!!

What book do you plan to read next?

I have also received an ARC ofย  Everything’s Not Fine by Sarah Carlson which is set to be released later this month so this one’s next on my reading list. In e-book, next up on my queue is Worth Fighting Forby Laura Kaye which is still a part of Kristen Proby’s crossover novellas with her Big Sky Series.

Do you use the star rating system?

Yes, I do. The Goodreads star-rating is pretty straightforward for me. Though, I would like to think of myself as a pretty generous rater because my average rating is 3-stars and I rarely give 1-star. If I don’t really like a book, I just don’t rate it.

Are you doing a 2020 Reading Challenge?

Yes, I am! I’m aiming to read 100 books this year and because of the quarantine we are all in I was able to readย  lot and I now already covered 70% of the challenge. 30 more books!!

Do you have a wishlist?

Weirdly enough, I don’t have a concrete book wish list. Whenever someone ask me what books do I want I just blurt out titles that are at the top of my head. ๐Ÿ˜…

What book do you plan to buy next?

I’m planning to buy physical copies of Mary H.K Choi’s books once the quarantine has been lifted.ย  For e-book, I don’t have any titles in mind but maybe if a new romance book caught my attention I might fall victim to Amazon’s one-clickย  again. lol.

Do you have any favorite quotes? Share a few.

Sadly, I don’t keep track of my favorite quotes. I usually incorporate it with my reviews and I’m too lazy to browse through them. ๐Ÿ˜ฃ

Who are your favorite authors?

I made a post about my favorite authors! You can check it out here. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have you joined any groups?

Yes, I have joined several groups but I’m rarely active in any of them. Here are some of the groups that I’m part of:

Do you also use Goodreads? Was it helpful for you? Share your Goodreads links below so I can add you up and we can be friends there too. ๐Ÿ’š

Loved reading your answers! I also don’t keep a wish list ahah, and just tell random books to people, and then hope I didn’t tell people the same one!
