The Stay at Home Book Tag

Hello! Am I the only one who’s having a hard time tracking what day is it? It feels like each day passes by quickly and I can’t even distinguish weekdays to weekends! I saw this tag over on Reading In The Wings blog page and since, we’re all staying at home (and I’ve been at home for more than a month now) I think doing my version of this tag was just fitting. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

Laying in Bed- Book You Could/Have Read in a Day

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

I’ve read this book in one sitting! That’s how fun this book was. The love-hate relationship ++ the summer Hawaii vibes , what’s really not to like? If you’re looking for a quick, fun romcom read, I definitely recommend this book!

Snacking- A Guilty Pleasure Book

Spiked by Love (Bellevue Bullies #6) by Toni Aleo

This is one of my favorite series by Toni Aleo. Actually, I’m a huge sucker for any sports romance type of books and consider them my “guilty pleasure reads”. These are the types of books that are just fun, quick and gives you the good old romance feel. There’s nothing to feel guilty about while reading these books!

Netflix- Series You Want to Start

The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare

I’ve been meaning to read this book series so I can finally start watching the Netflix series. I’ve heard and read mixed reviews about both the books and the TV Series but I’m still very much interested to see what the fuss is all about.

Deep Clean- Been On Your TBR for Ages

The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay

This book has been on my TBR for the longest time. I think this was already there ever since I joined Goodreads (which was way back 2013. lol) This book has been recommended by a lot of friends and I’ve read a LOT of good reviews about it so here’s to hoping I get to tick this one off my TBR soon.

Animal Crossing- A Book You Recently Bought Because of Hype

P.S. It’s Always Been You by Lauren Blakely

I one-clicked this book in Amazon not entirely because of the hype but mostly because I’mย  itching for a new romance book to read. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Productivity โ€“ Book You Learned from or Had an Impact on You

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

This book really holds a powerful message about the impact of other peopleโ€™s words, how important it is for a person to have a shoulder to lean on and to learn to speak up and ask for help.

Facetime โ€“ A Book You Were Gifted

The Burning Shadow (Origin #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I think this was the last book that was gifted to me. I got this last Christmas from an exchange gift projectย  with fellow Filipino bloggers that I joined in. This is actually on my “wish list” then that’s why I was so happy to receive a copy!

Self Care โ€“ What is One Thing You Have Done Recently to Look After Yourself

I’ve really been dedicated in doing quick and easy home workout routines. I also finally started to religiously follow a skincare routine. Mentally, I’ve been writing daily entries on my journal which is really helpful to me as well. ๐Ÿ˜‰

BONUS โ€“ Name a Book Coming Out Soon

More Than Maybe by Erin Hahn

One of my most anticipated books this year! We cannot have too much of music related contemporary reads, right?

Iโ€™M NOT TAGGING ANYONE ON THIS POST. BUT FEEL FREE TO DO YOUR OWN VERSION AND SHARE YOUR LINKS BELOW SO I CAN CHECK IT OUT! ๐Ÿ’š

I just recently listened to Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher, and I was blown away by it! The way it was put together was fascinating!

It was very emotional. But I was able to keep myself a bit detached, and just enjoyed the way it was written. Otherwise I would have been sobbing.
